NKMA provides a Montessori academic curriculum of individualized learning that optimizes the intellectual, social and emotional development of each child. Children are guided by degreed and certified teachers who embrace the Montessori Philosophy. NKMA and its teachers are affiliated with both the American Montessori Society and the International Montessori Council. In addition, the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services licenses the primary program.

Application & Interview Fees
$100 Primary – $150 Elementary prior to interview. Children do not attend the initial appointment.
Half-Day Preschool: $6000
Full-Day Preschool: $8657
Before Care: No Charge
After Care: $980 to $2275 per year
– 5 days per week for $2275 per year;
– 3 days per week for $1470 per year;
– 2 days per week for $980 per year;
– Drop-in, available only to children enrolled Full-day, is $12 per hour.
Hot Lunch Program
A hot-lunch is offered each day for children enrolled in the full-day program. There is a vegetarian option. NKMA is a nut-free school.
Primary School Fees
$190 – A one-time fee covers the cost of all field trips, the Family Christmas party and the Family Picnic at the end of the school year. Field trips are on campus, with few exceptions.
Elementary School Fees
$400 – A one-time fee covers the cost of all field trips, the physical education program, transportation to necessary events, the Family Christmas party and the Family Picnic at the end of the school year.
Northern Kentucky Montessori Center provides limited financial assistance to families who wish to apply in February prior to March enrollment. Applications are made on-line through the National Association of Independent Schools, School and Student Service for Financial Aid. For details contact the Executive or Associate Director.
Sibling And Other Discounts
Discounts are provided and detailed on the Fee Schedule.
Parents are required to sign a tuition contract upon enrolling their children at NKMA.
A variety of extra-curricular activities are offered after school between 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. All children whether enrolled in after care or not are welcome to participate. Fees for these activities are independent of after care fees.
