What I like most about the Montessori Method is…when I first discovered Montessori Education, I was most impressed by Dr. Montessori’s emphasis on humaneness.  Thirty-four years later, I remain convinced that this is it’s most important aspect.  While the Montessori Method is exceptional in its academics, and its individualism, its recognition of the importance of treating children with respect is what I consider to be its most important attribute.
